South Park refugees unite… Vote for gridlock!

Thursday, August 31st, 2006

I HAVE bad news for the GOP regarding that promising new bloc of voters, the South Park Republicans. It turns out they're not Republicans, at least not anymore.

I've been toying with the idea lately that the only way to have a conservative government is to ensure that they cannot actually get anything done…  Where Is H Ross Perot when we need him? Now there was a man who would have raised a huge stink, and nobody from either party would have worked with him on anything…

Weighty matter:  Is religion making us fat?

I found this amusing and interesting.  I'm not prepared to entirely agree with it; not without seeing some hard data, but I thought you lot might enjoy being exposed to the idea.

Sorry it took so long, but I needed to unhack the blog before I posted… Wink

I cannot tell you how long I've been waiting for news that someone in the Judicial Branch actually has a pair, and would like to return to the field, to play "checks and balances" with the Bush administration…

Oh, and more good news…

The Completely Evil Hack

Sunday, August 20th, 2006

Ok, my hosting provider's server was hacked and all the Eviltyrant sites were defaced. The nature of the defacement was some pro Allah, anti Israel crap. Not that I do not have respect for the religion/beliefs people etc… , but I think in the interest of equal time I should post Pro Israel/Anti-Arabic links and material. :p

It will take me a while to fix all that is broken, but hopefully I can get it all back to normal over the next few weeks…

My hosting providers are a bunch of buttheads, and are doing everything possible to make the repair of my site as difficult as possible. I feel somewhat like a doctor who is being forced to remove someone's appendix through their left ear… I'm beginning to think it would be easier to compromise their web server and fix my site via the hacked server…

Anyone know of a good hosting provider that actually monitors their server and keeps their patches/os up to date? Oh, and are not a bunch of knee jerking horse's patooties?

Dems Release Report Alleging White House Lawbreaking

Sunday, August 13th, 2006

You may find this of interest.

This may become worth referencing and remembering should the Democrats retake the US House of Representatives and/or US Senate.  I do not anticipate them achieving either of these, but it is nice to see that at least some of our elected officials are willing to investigate what appears to be wrong doing.
