I do not think Ron Paul is any more viable a presidential candidate as Republican than he was as Libertarian. I grant you that much of what he advocates makes more sense to me than much said by all other candidates. Sadly, the electorate has not been sufficiently inconvenienced to put someone straight talking and less beholden to corporate and wealthy masters into such high office. It is my hope that he will enter the race if only to press Libertarian points into the ongoing political dialog, as Libertarians have been since the mid-1980’s when they began to grow in number.

Sadly, Mark is dead on. He did however do really well in the debate but that is not enough these days. I’ll still be voting for him in the primary though.
