Yes yes, but where can I buy one?

I, too, want to buy one and spent at least 30 minutes yesterday trying to find one for sale. Hoping a relative, in the retail/int’l market, can get me one.

It looks like you can only buy one at the local (i.e. Italy) retailers. I too looked around for a bit. Post a link if you find an online retailer.

Well, they have a reseller list. The closest to US is in Canada, maybe they can ship it over the border:

honestly, that’s not really a gadget or even tech of any sort. it’s just plain spiffy, though.

In a somewhat cynical thought, I just came to the conclusion that it probably won’t ever be available in the US, because some idiot would stab himself with it and then sue the company because there isn’t a warning label stating, “do not push knives through slots while hand or body parts are blocking rear of slots.” The company, not wanting to subject itself to the liability, will only sell in countries where idiocy isn’t tolerated in the justice system (i.e., not the US).

Hey everyone- I wonder if anyone’s till visiting this page at this point, but I exchanged emails with the knife rack’s designer, Raffaele Iannello, who kindly informed me that the product hasn’t gone on sale yet… it’s still in the finishing/prototype stages. Also no news on internation distribution yet.

Don’t suppose there was any dates given for Italian release, or a price? I might be in Italy sometime this summer, and I need to furnish my apartment when I get back to Canada. I need this thing.
