Rip-off Report.com is a site to check for your online retailer for complaints before you give them your credit card number…
I think my favorite quote from this article is "Federal law expressly makes the ordering of surveillance under the [NSA-Bush] program a federal felony. That would mean that the president could be guilty of no fewer than 30 felonies in office." Bush says he has reauthorized the program 30 times. And, Turley continues, "it is illegal for other government officials to carry out such an order."
Why is it that you cannot find a tramp with presidential spooge on her dress when you need a good impeachment?
Subtitled, cute homemade Movie…
Wow… Don't piss off Bank of America… This sounds as bad as having your identity stolen…
Picked up this link for a friend….
Convert your Christmas yard deer to something much more interesting…
myFairTunes6 v.0.2b – is a cute little Windows program that removes the Itunes 6 DRM from music purchased in the iTunes music store…
Warning though: "Backup your library before using. The Mac DeHymn project ran into some snags when the Apple upgrades to iTunes detected songs with the DRM removed, and refused to play them. It was at a later point the project was updated to further clean the songs so they could play."
It's so funny. This hilarious scene from the Red Dwarf series came up in conversation yesterday. I've seen this episode a dozen times and never really thought about playing it backwards.
This is just so cool, and a little scary… Someone has broken musical composition down to it's nuts and bolts and has written a program that can replicate the style of a composer based mostly on their published body of work…
I bet the RIAA is already preparing a lawsuit…
Get your fish here. Fish appears to be a pretty cool shell replacement for Linux/Unix/OSX…
Yah, I know there aren't many McWeenies out there. This link is mostly just for me…
I'm surprised he made it past his 40th birthday…
Now if they can come up with an engine to suggest bands based on your musical interests (myspace is already handy for browsing common interests through friends and friends-of-friends bands) this could be the perfect way for music to reach the masses.

I remember reading an article about the Bonne Terre Mine in a SCUBA magazine years ago. I really wanted to go, but had forgotten about it since… Now that I found it again (and still want to go), I decided to preserve it on the blog (so I can start the process of forgetting about it all over again)… ;-)

Mike Judge gets no respect… again…
According to this review the movie has the potential to be as big a cult classic as Office Space.
Variety also liked the movie (but were a little less enamored with it)…
I guess Fox is counting on the DVD sales…
