A little article regarding Microsofts misplaced trust in technology to prevent hacking.
Personally, if I owned an older Xbox and hacked it to be a media center… I wouldn’t think there would be a reason to upgrade… ;-)
Apparently you can just add external hard drive space to the Xbox 360 via the USB-2 ports. Even though Microsoft will not let you load MP3 files on the new Xbox you can put them on an external drive in windows, then just plug the drive into the Xbox. Bam… Instant MP3 storage/player.
This is an excellent time waster.

This light display was the work of Carson Williams of Mason, Ohio, who spent about three hours sequencing the 88 Light-O-Rama channels that control the 16,000 Christmas lights in his 2004 holiday lighting spectacular. The musical accompaniment is broadcast over a low-power radio station so that it is only audible to visitors tuned in to the correct frequency and doesn’t disturb the neighbors.
The story above is not verified, but was sent with the link by a friend of mine. So if you can resist the urge… please don’t send me comments saying that Carson Williams didn’t make the show, or that Carson doesn’t really live in Ohio… ;-)

DMCA strikes again at the boundaries of reason. Ex Talking Heads front man and current radio show host, David Byrne, is issued a warning by the RIAA for playing more than 4 tracks by a single artist within a three hour period. How this could possibly be a part of the digital Millennium Copyright Act is amazing.
